Famed MTV girl group “Danity Kane” score their second straight No. 1 album.
Billboard reports that Danity Kane's sophomore effort, Welcome to the Dollhouse, topped this week's Billboard Top 200. The disc is the second No. 1 release in a row for the group.
Danity Kane is famed for having been assembled on the hit MTV series, Making the Band 3. The girls are signed to Diddy's Bad Boy imprint, and this week, managed to move 236,000 copies of their sophomore album in the United States, according to Nielsen SoundScan. Danity Kane's first studio effort, 2006’s self-titled debut, also topped the charts, moving 234,000 its first week of release.
Danity Kane, whose members consist of Aubrey, Shannon, Dawn, Aundrea and D. Woods, released Welcome to the Dollhouse March 17, and have since lined up a slew of promotional appearances in support of their latest effort.
