TLC's T-Boz Files For Divorce
Tionne "T-Boz" Watkins of the hit R&B group, TLC, filed for divorce from husband Mack 10 in an Atlanta court June 8, citing adultery and abuse as the reasons for the split.
Watkins, 34, also sought a restraining order against her husband, claiming he was physically abusive, and threatened to kill her. According to court documents filed by Watkins, the rapper allegedly threatened to "smash her teeth down her throat," then pushed her to the ground and choked her, on one occasion when she was trying to leave the couples residence with their daughter. The document states that on another occasion, he threatened to have her "erased." The documents reportedly make no mention of adultery.
Mack 10 has denied all allegations, saying in court documents that his wife is trying to "gain an advantage in these proceedings," and also trying to prevent him from seeing the couple's three-year-old daughter Chase, for whom Watkins is seeking full custody. According to USA Today, a Fulton County judge has granted the rapper permission to see his daughter three days a week, and Mack 10 is scheduled to appear in court June 22.
