A Different World Star to Divorce

People magazine is reporting that actress Jasmine Guy and her husband, Terrence Duckett, have called it quits. Guy, who played Whitley Gilbert Wayne on the '90s TV series, A Different World, filed for divorce from her husband at a Los Angeles court, citing irreconcilable differences for the demise of her marriage. The couple, who are both 46 years old, have been married for almost ten years. They have a 9-year-old daughter named Imani. Guy is seeking physical and legal custody of Imani. She is also asking for spousal support and requesting that the court deny any spousal support from her.
