“Mother” Actor Does Not Want Britney Back

Star of “How I Met Your Mother,” actor Neil Patrick Harris, does not want Spears to return to the show.
Apparently, not everyone was impressed with Britney Spears’s cameo on How I Met Your Mother. According to the Associated Press, actor Neil Patrick Harris places Britney and Tara Reid in the same category of stunt casting.
According to Harris, his main priority is to keep the integrity of the CBS sitcom, rather than worry about ratings. Harris even told the Associated Press that having Britney Spears return for another cameo is not an option for him.
“I'm in the minority that our show does not need stunt casting in order to succeed. I worry that if they start Will and Grace-ing us too much, that the show will suffer,” he added.
Harris thinks Mother would do just fine without another guest stint from Spears, as she only added an additional 700,000 viewers from the week prior to her appearance.
