Motley Crue Tours North America
A new festival tour, featuring rock band Motley Crue, is coming to 41 cities across North America.
According to BBC News, Motley Crue will be joined by Buckcherry, Sixx:AM, Papa Roach and Trapt. The festival already has the tagline, "The loudest show on Earth."
Tommy Lee, Motley Crue drummer and ex-husband of Pamela Anderson, said he hoped Crue Fest would become an annual event - kind of like Ozzy Osbourne's Ozzfest, reported BBC News. All four original members of the band will participate in the festival, which kicks off in Florida in West Palm Beach on July 1, and ends on Aug 31 in Pittsburgh.
Motley Crue has also announced plans to release its new single, "Saints of Los Angeles," via the video game, Rock Band. In a quote taken from BBC News, Lee said that the band's chemistry on stage has stayed the same, but the post-gig activities are a little different.
"The second we hit the stage, everything is exactly the same. But when the house lights go up these days, everybody leaves and goes back to their hotel room or bus or airplane or whatever," said Lee.
