Spears Wants Script Approval on “Mother”

Britney Spears won’t sign on for another “How I Met Your Mother” episode until she reads the script.
Sources have been reporting that Britney Spears is set to make another guest appearance on CBS’s, How I Met Your Mother. But according to Us, Spears will not do the show unless she approves of the script.
Spears guest starred on the Monday night sitcom on March 24, playing the secretary in a doctor’s office. The episode was the most viewed episode in the show’s history. Because of the success of the episode, there has been talk of Spears reprising her role. However, this does not make all the stars on How I Met Your Mother happy. Neil Patrick Harris revealed that he is afraid that Spears’s guest starring will just be a ploy to gain an audience and will hurt the integrity of the show.
However, whether Spears will guest star again is up to Spears. A source close to Spears revealed, “Nothing is signed, yet. No script has been written and until that is done, Britney will not be making a commitment. The offer is there but no decisions have been made at the moment.”
