Jackass's Steve-O Pleads Innocent
The stunt-performing star of the MTV series, Jackass, and its movie spin-offs, Stephen Glover, who is fondly known as Steve-O, pleaded innocent to a cocaine possession charge, Wednesday, which stemmed from his March arrest in Hollywood. He was arrested on March 3 at his home in Hollywood, after a complaint that he had vandalized the property of a neighbor. "I've been clean for 44 days," Glover told reporters outside the Los Angeles courtroom, while he hurriedly signed autographs for people who were reporting for jury duty in other cases. According to Reuters, after his arrest, Glover was allegedly hospitalized for psychiatric evaluation, which he then blogged about in the post, "You Should All Know I'm in the Looney Bin," on his Web site. The 33-year-old star on reality television is one of several pranksters who became renowned for doing outrageous stunts on the Jackass show, as well as two Jackass movies that followed in 2002 and 2006. However, the star eventually reached a plea deal that placed him on probation for a year and that prohibited him from performing in Terrebonne Parish again.
