Miley Cyrus to Participate in Disney Channel Games
According to the Orlando Sentinel, Miley Cyrus will participate in the Disney Channel Games in Orlando this Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday in Champion Stadium.
After her Internet scandal, when racy photos of the Hannah Montana star were released, Disney decided she could still be a representation of the squeaky-clean Disney image, alongside Vanessa Hudgens, High School Musical star, who also had an Internet photo scandal.
Hudgens will not be participating in the game, but Disney show stars from hit shows Camp Rock, The Cheetah Girls: One World, Wizards of Waverly Place, The Suite Life of Zack & Cody, Cory in the House, and of course, Hannah Montana, will all participate in the production, benefiting the charities Boys & Girls Club, UNICEF, Make-A-Wish Foundation and Starlight Starbright.
Disney announced Saturday that Miley Cyrus, The Cheetah Girls, and the Jonas Brothers will all perform at a Saturday concert for the games, but whether or not the public will be allowed to attend has not yet been announced. The games run from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., but fans will be asked to leave at some time, as the games are a production. Friday's games will be completely closed to the public. The games will air later this summer.
