Next Harry Potter installment has official title
Written by: Heather Monley
J.K. Rowling disclosed the title of her next Harry Potter book.
Despite misguided rumors about a "Pillar of Storgé," the next Harry Potter novel will be called, "Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince." Author J.K. Rowling announced the long-awaited title on her website Tuesday.
Rowling refused to give too many hints, but did mention that the mentioned Prince is not Harry or Lord Voldemort. She also implied that this next book would give a lot more clues about what would happen at the end of the seven-book series.
There is no news yet on when the book will be finished, though it seems it will not be very soon. This could cause problems for the successful movie adaptations, whose young stars aren't staying young. Daniel Radcliffe, who plays Harry in the films, has commented, "I'm getting older than Harry." It is unclear at this point if the teenage actors will continue to play the roles throughout the entire series, but they are all involved in the fourth installment, "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire," which began production Monday.
