Pete Wentz Accused of Attacking a Man at a Chicago Show
Fall Out Boy bassist and recently engaged Pete Wentz is reportedly being sued by a fan, Andy Kallas, who claims Wentz and his band attacked him at a show in Chicago last year. TMZ said they obtained the lawsuit and Kallas said he suffered "seriously injuries to his head, mouth and face." According to Buzznet, after the event, Pete issued a statement that Kallas grabbed him and his attack was merely self defense. According to TMZ, witnesses say Kallas was obnoxiously yelling "sellout" at Wentz, making fun of his hoodie, and asking where his new fiancee, Ashlee Simpson was.
Wentz told MTV News, "This is another in a long line of frivolous lawsuits that are filed against celebrities each year from individuals seeking a quick payoff when there is absolutely no justification for the claim."
Wentz has been all over the news recently with his engagement, pregnancy rumors, and political opinions (including his purchase of what he told People, "is not a conflict diamond").
