Barbara Walters's Affair with Senator
The View host reveals secret affair with 1970s Senator.
TV personality Barbara Walters recently confessed to having an affair with a married Senator in the 1970s.
In an interview on The Oprah Winfrey Show, Walters admitted to her relationship with Massachusetts Republican, Senator Edward Brooke, revealing, "He was exciting. He was brilliant. It was exciting times in Washington."
The The View host admitted her infatuation with the man, but did not claim to be in love.
"I was certainly - I don't know - I was infatuated."
Walters is about to release an upcoming autobiography entitled Audition: A Memoir.
