Miley Cyrus, You’re Smart - So Act Like It

Miley Cyrus, you’re smart - act like it.
Disney sensation Miley Cyrus has been under the spotlight this week after a photo spread in an upcoming issue of Vanity Fair came out. Cyrus, 15, is Disney's shining star, and worth millions. However, Bill O'Reilly's mini-campaign against Cyrus's photography shenanigans illustrated that the teen has no problem with posing "suggestively" (whatever) when she thinks the photos will stay private. However, to cover her own behind, when photos like these get into the public domain, she suddenly becomes apologetic. And it's not like this is even the first time it's happened! Before this, a similar story broke about silly photos she had taken with friends.
And now Cyrus's family is ganging up on the famous photographer, Annie Leibovitz, who took the photos to be seen in Vanity Fair. The photo in question involves Cyrus lacking clothing. What does Cyrus expect us to think -- she was unconscious when the photos were taken, and that's why she isn't responsible for posing for each and every one of them? I find the argument that Billy Ray Cyrus et al. had NO idea what was going on with Miley, to be a hard one to swallow. In addition, at the same time, a photo was taken with the two Cyrus's - do they expect, as Hillary Clinton once said, the "willing suspension of disbelief"? Miley is a teenager worth millions, if not billions, and her father is a seasoned pro in the 'biz. They're both intelligent and understand what's what. But to blame the photographer and say they were hoodwinked . . . that's not right, and we're smarter than that.
