Playing Poker at the Tournament Level
3-May-2008
Written by:

I have been playing pick up Poker games on the Internet, and it is time I moved up. I played my first tournament of Online Poker today, and I tell you . . . what a rush! I surprised myself and lasted to the fourth place. I realize now I could have won it, should have won it, but I can tell you why I didn't. In Poker, leading in the chip count can quickly diminish to nothing if you are not careful. In this case, I wasn't. I threw my chips away foolishly and before I knew it, I was out of the tournament. I was not careful with my chips in this tournament, but I'm careful when I pick where I want to play Poker Online. Playing Poker on the Internet is fun and easy. And thanks to the latest in server technology, it is safe, too. I can insert my credit card information and personal details without fear of spyware or identity thieves, and focus more on the game. I have already registered for the next tournament, and this time I am ready. With a little luck on my side, I'm keeping a cool head and look toward winning the big pot.
