Foxy Brown Signs Court Ordered Apology
9-May-2008
Written by: Danielle Terreri

Rap diva Foxy Brown apologizes for hitting neighbor with Blackberry.

Rapper Foxy Brown signed a court-ordered letter of apology Thursday in Brooklyn Supreme Court for hitting her neighbor in the mouth with a Blackberry.

Brown signed the apology in order to get a no-jail plea agreement for the civil suit filed by her neighbor, Arlene Raymond. The Brooklyn native - real name Inga Marshand – admitted to the incident, which occurred last July.

“To whom it may concern,” it said. “I apologize for the incident that occurred on 7/31/07 in that I attempted to scare Arlene Raymond and place her in harm's way,” as reported by nydailynews.com.

The erratic rap star showed little remorse, as she continued to bash her neighbor upon completion of the letter. According to nydailynews.com, Brown’s lawyer, Laura Delimentin, spoke on the singer’s behalf, claiming Raymond “is a troubled girl.”

Two weeks prior to this, Brown faced a similar suit in Florida in which she also took a no-jail plea.
