Hulk’s Son to Serve Jail Time
9-May-2008
Written by: Danielle Terreri

Nick Hogan sentenced to 8 months jail time after August 2007 crash.

Nick Hogan, son of wrestling star, Hulk Hogan, was sentenced to eight months jail time after pleading no contest, before Judge Philip Federico at the Pinellas County courtroom, on felony charges resulting from an August 2007 car crash that left friend, John Graziano, in critical condition, as reported by people.com.

Nick Hogan, aka Nick Bollea, is 17, but faced adult charges. Other repercussions for Hogan, according to Hollywoodgrind.com, include 5 years probation and 500 community service hours in which the judge denied the option of a buy-out. Therefore, Hogan will not be able to pay for, rather than serve, his hours. The judge requested that his community service reflect that of Graziano’s service to our country as a Marine. While on probation, Hogan must attend DUI school, is unable to drink, and his driver’s license has been revoked for 3 years.

Hogan is serving his time in the Pinellas County Jail in Florida. He was taken into custody directly from the courtroom Friday without being given time to say goodbye to his family.
