Younger Spears “Showered” in Mississippi

Jamie Lynn Spears celebrates her baby shower in Mississippi.
Jamie Lynn Spears, Britney’s younger sister, used Mother’s Day weekend to recognize her present status as a new mom-to-be.
Spears, dressed in a bright dress and yellow heels, headed in her Range Rover to Liberty, Mississippi to an early evening baby shower attended by a select group of Spears’s close friends.
The event also included some male supporters, contrasting from Britney’s baby shower in Kentwood, Louisiana where only women were in attendance.
Casey Aldridge, the baby’s father, was not present, but his mother, Joyce, and sister Ashley were. After the event, the event’s participants went out to dinner and a club.
Jamie is expected to attend more showers in May; the Aldridge family is expecting to host one as well.
