Mullally Attached to New Pilot

ABC announces a bevy of new pilots.
Megan Mullally has been cast opposite Alicia Silverstone to star in ABC comedy pilot Bad Mother’s Handbook.
The former star of Will and Grace and her own talk show is wrapping up her stint on Broadway in Young Frankenstein.
Handbook comes from ABC Studios, and is a single-camera show, according to the Hollywood Reporter, about “a 32-year-old woman (Silverstone) too busy taking care of her teenage daughter (Alia Shawkat) and her mother (Mullally).”
In other ABC casting news, Annie Potts and Amanda Detmer have been attached to an untitled ABC pilot created by Kristen Newman. Also, Domenick Lombardozzi, Jacob Vargas, Malachi Weir, Tasha Smith and Tzi Ma all have joined the network’s drama titled Finnegan.
