Did Joe Simpson Ruin Another of Jessica's Relationships?

Is Joe Simpson continuing to ruin daughter Jessica's love life? According to eFluxMedia, Simpson played a large part in Jessica's divorce from first husband, Nick Lachey, and may have struck again with Jessica's new boyfriend, Dallas Cowboy quarterback Tony Romo.

No official split has been confirmed for Simpson and Romo, but according to the Chicago Sun-Times, father Joe was too involved with the relationship, "not only telling Jessica every move to make, but also offering unsolicited advice on his career, endorsement opportunities and things that have nothing to do with him dating Jessica."

Simpson has played a big part in both his daughter's [Jessica and Ashlee] lives and careers, coming up with ideas for both of their reality shows that aired on MTV, Newlyweds and The Ashlee Simpson Show. Romo was not thrilled with the media attention about their relationship, which he felt was too distracting to his football career, after Simpson told Glamour magazine that Romo is her "future husband."

Speaking of husbands, despite the alleged split between Simpson and Romo, he still agreed to accompany Jessica to her sister Ashlee's wedding to Fall Out Boy member Pete Wentz this weekend. Jessica reported to OK! Magazine that if Romo did not attend the wedding, they are definitely over. With Romo attending, maybe he and Simpson will make it to the altar?
