A Helping Hand for Lohan?
Model Masha Markova has recently filed papers at Manhattan's State Supreme Court, claiming that starlet Lindsay Lohan stole her $11,000 fur coat after a birthday party in January. At the end of the bash, her blond mink coat was nowhere to be found. Lohan insists that she is innocent, despite being photographed wearing an identical fur the exact same night. Markova told the New York Post that she was certain the actress was wearing her coat when she saw a similar coat adorning Lohan's arms. Although the coat was later returned after a two-week absence, Markova still brought the case to court.
John Englebert, owner of Prime nightclub and Suzie Wong Saki Lounge, stepped in on Wednesday, offering to settle the case by purchasing her a mink coat of her own. However, according to SFGate.com, Lohan insists that she does not need any assistance in the matter. "She already has one (fur coat)," says her representative. "If she took it, she took it by mistake. There are worse mistakes to make."
