Billy Ray Finally Speaks over Miley's Vanity Fair Photos

Billy Ray Cyrus has finally stepped forward to give his opinion on his daughter, Miley's, recent photo scandals. After personal photos of the Hannah Montana star leaked to Internet pages, parents were skeptical, but when 15-year-old Cyrus was posing in just a sheet in Vanity Fair, her image suffered. Both Cyrus and photographer Annie Leibovitz have publicly apologized for the photos, but father Billy Ray has not yet said his piece, until now.

Cyrus told OK! Magazine, "I can't imagine being her age and going through what she went through," in regards to the backlash of the photos' release. Miley, and few others, did not think the photos were inappropriate, but artistic. "I know the business can eat you alive, but I'm a calloused old veteran, and she's a young, teenage girl. It's a heck of a storm to survive, even with maturity." Not exactly an opinion, but Cyrus stands beside his daughter and gives support through her battle against the media.
