Jackass Presents: Matt Hoffman's Tribute to Evel Knievel
Today's infamous collection of daredevils pays tribute to the greatest stuntman of all time: Evel Knievel. BMX innovator Matt Hoffman and Jackass star Johnny Knoxville host this tribute to the legendary stunt rider. Travis Pastrana, Scott Palmer, Allen Cooke, and Davin "Psycho" Halford are a few of the riders who pay hommage to Knievel with thrilling tricks of their own. DVD extras include additional scenes, and the featurettes "Stephen's Story," "Thoughts on Evel Knievel," "Travis Pastrana Pit Session," "Knoxville's Hospital Visit," and "Tattoo Montage."
Muppet Show Season 3
Kermit, Miss Piggy, Animal and the gang delighted children with their hour-long variety series through the 1970s and '80s. Now everyone's favorite misfit band of animals, monsters, and Gonzo are back on this comedy-packed DVD box set. This four-disc box set includes all 24 episodes from the show's hilarious third season. DVD extras include the 1968 documentary, "Muppets on Puppets," "A Frog is Born," and a making-of bonus feature.
CHiPs Season 2
Ponch and Jon get back on their California Highway Patrol motorcycles to bust criminals on the L.A. freeway. This DVD features all 23 episodes from the 1978-79 season including: "Disaster Squad," "Supercycle," "Return of the Turks," "CHP-BMX," and the season finale, "The Greatest Adventures of CHiPs." Sarah Jessica Parker starred in this early '80s sitcom about two teenage girls struggling to fit in with the cool crowd. This comedy ran one season on CBS in 1982 and starred Amy Linker, John Femia and Merritt Butrick. DVD extras include the featurette, "Weemawee Yearbook Memories" (interviews with the cast and crew), and the minisodes The Facts of Life "Sex Symbol" and Silver Spoons "Hey, Mrs. Robinson."
Burn Notice Season 1
When Michael Westen receives a "burn notice," his career as an international spy is terminated. But when he comes home to Miami, he finds that no one will talk to him and his bank account has been frozen. Michael decides to take on jobs as a private investigator and with help from his ex-girlfriend/IRA agent and an ex-spy/current FBI informant, he tackles crime from drug running to prostitution rings in Miami's seedy underbelly. DVD extras include commentary from cast and crew, outtakes, and action montages.
Dukes of Hazzard Two Movie Collection
Bo and Luke Duke are back with Daisy, Uncle Jesse and the General Lee in this double feature film collection. In Hazzard in Hollywood, Bo and Luke try to raise money for the Hazzard County Hospital by going to L.A. to sell recordings of their songs. But when their music and money are stolen, the boys try to recover what's theirs from Russian gangsters and international loan sharks. And in Dukes of Hazzard Reunion, the boys try to save Uncle Jesse's farm and Hazzard Swap from developers trying to build a theme park.
Comedy Central's Home Grown
This compilation of Comedy Central's most memorable comics and characters will have you laughing at all hours of the day. Sketches include Dave Chappelle as Tyrone Biggums and comedy mastermind Lewis Black debating the merits of beer against weed, Reno 911 PSAs, Crank Yankers crank phone calls, and Sarah Silverman. Featurettes include "The Watch List," "Honesty," "The Wood Spider," "Joy of Painting," and "FILM archive."
Rescue Me: The Complete 4th Season
Tommy and the guys at 62 Truck have their work cut out for them in this hit series on FX. In season four, an arson investigation following a beach house fire targets Tommy, Janet worries that her new baby doesn't like her, Colleen runs away from home, a not guilty verdict is delivered in Uncle Teddy's manslaughter trial, Jerry commits suicide, and the crew from 62 Truck is savaged in the press for not being able to save seven children from dying in a tragic fire.
American Ganster: The Complete 2nd Season
This documentary series, narrated by Ving Rhames, explores the lives of African-American criminal masterminds with a focus on the facts and their impact on their communities. Among those examined in the second season are the Philly Black Mafia, heroin kingpin Melvin Williams, bank robber Chaz Williams, and D.C. snipers John Muhammad and Lee Boyd Malvo. This DVD fetures all 10 episodes from the second season. DVD extras include production interviews and extended subject interviews with Bo Baines, Frank Lucas, Williams, and Frank Lucas, Jr.
