Brooke Hogan Has Car Trouble

Looks like Hulk Hogan's son Nick is not the only one capable of reckless driving.

Brooke Hogan, Hulk's daughter, was involved in a car accident of her own on Sunday afternoon in Clearwater, Fla. The incident led to traffic lanes being closed for hours at a time.

The accident occurred when Ron Gallmon, 19, lost control of his 1997 Toyota and ran into Brooke's Mercedes while trying to change lanes. She was pushed into the left concrete wall, ultimately ending on the left shoulder.

No individuals were harmed in the accident and no charges have been filed.

While early reports place Mr. Hogan in the car, accounts from the Florida Highway Patrol mention that Brooke's only passenger was a mutual friend. It adds that the accident was not of her own doing, and that both her and Gallmon's cars sustained $3,000 worth of damage.

Both of Brooke's parents, Hulk and Linda Hogan, immediately went over to the scene to ensure that their daughter was safe.

On her MySpace page, Brooke thanked her brother Nick and his friend John Graziano for reinforcing the importance of wearing seat belts. Considering Nick's past troubles, which included an eight-month stint in jail for dangerous driving that led to his friend being injured, he was in perfect position to counsel his sister.

Brooke Hogan, since appearing on the VH1 reality show Hogan Knows Best, has seen her popularity increase significantly due to the show's exposure. She also has a budding music career.
