Clinton Vows to Support Obama if She Loses Democratic Nomination

Will Clinton Stick to Her Word if She in Fact Loses?

Democratic Presidential candidate Hillary Rodham Clinton has stated on numerous occasions that if Barack Obama were to win the Democratic party's nomination, that she would fully support him, according to Earl Hutchinson of The Huffington Post. There is currently a large amount of pressure on Clinton to support Obama if he wins the election, as expected, at the conclusion of the Democratic primaries.

According to Hutchinson, if Clinton does not fully support Obama and make public appearances vouching for him while knocking Republican candidate John McCain's policies, she is at risk of losing money as well as overall support from the Democratic party. However, Clinton has frequently reiterated how important she feels it is for the Democratic party to take control of the White House back from the Republicans.

Despite the fact that she trails significantly in the number of delegates required to win the Democratic nomination, Clinton has maintained that she will stay in the race until the very end. How she reacts, if in fact Obama is to win the candidacy, in terms of supporting Obama or becoming complacent about the entire process because she did not win it, will have a significant role in the Democratic party's campaign.
