Hilary Duff Deemed “Good Girl”
2-Jun-2008
Written by: Melanie Sutrathada

Hilary Duff claims that being known as the “good girl” is not bad.

Hilary Duff has said she does not mind being considered the “good girl” in comparison to the party-hearty Hollywood generation that we see today. Recently, she told AOL, “I know people think I’m a good girl and I’m not going to fight it and be like, ‘I’m not, I’m bad.’”

“I don’t really care that [people] think that [but] I’d rather them think that than think I’m like everyone else.”

Duff, who is well-known for her start as Lizzie McGuire, revealed that she would prefer to be like Natalie Portman. The 20-year-old actress has also revealed her idol is Natalie Portman, because the Closer star is known more for her profession than her private life. The former Disney Star says, “It comes down to that I want people to focus on my work and I want to have my life completely separate from that.

“I love Natalie Portman so much because people don’t look at her as a good girl but they look at her and she’s a respected actress. Who knows what she does in her personal life?”
