Brad Pitt Takes on Being an Architect

The A-list actor puts his thoughts into Dubai.
Burn After Reading’s Brad Pitt has recently been named the designer of a new eco-friendly hotel in Dubai.
In a statement quoted on People.com, Pitt said that architecture is his passion, while acting is a career for him. In Dubai, he will be part of a team of design consultants from the L.A. architecture firm, GRAFT.
"Selecting this development as my first major construction project has been a simple decision," Pitt added. "It will underpin not only my values for environmentally-friendly architecture, but also embrace my career in entertainment."
The 44-year-old movie star has been making his mark in the U.S. by building affordable green homes in New Orleans’s Lower 9th Ward. The Dubai hotel will be a 5-star one with 800 rooms. The plans reportedly will be unveiled in the following months.
