McCain's Campaign Announces May Was Huge Fundraising Success
Republican presidential candidate John McCain's campaign has announced he has enjoyed his most successful fundraising month to date in May, according to the Associated Press.
Campaign officials have announced that McCain was able to bring in $21.5 million in fundraising money in the month of May.
According to the Associated Press, McCain has over $30 million in fundraising money for his upcoming presidential campaign.
The Republican's campaign appears to be very encouraged by the fact that McCain was able to bring in his highest fundraising total to date. The fundraising amount from May is especially important when taking into consideration the overwhelming success his opponent, Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama, has enjoyed as a fundraiser for his campaign.
To go along with McCain's fundraising, the Associated Press is reporting that the Republican National Committee, or R.N.C., reportedly managed to raise $23.7 million of its own in the month of May. By the beginning of this month, when taking into account their May earnings as well as the money they already possessed, the R.N.C. now reportedly has $53.6 million for the upcoming campaign.
