Mary-Kate Wants Us to Mind Our Own Business

The 21-year-old actress, Mary-Kate Olsen, has lashed out at people who have been continuously questioning her about the Olsen twins' fortune, claiming that her personal wealth should be of no concern to the outside world.

The actress began acting when she was a mere baby, appearing in the 1980s hit show, Full House, alongside her twin sister, Ashley. Following the show, the "Olsen Twins" released a long string of successful videos and movies and went on to launch an enormously profitable merchandising empire, making their estimated worth well over $100 million.

However, when Mary-Kate was questioned on her position as a well-off young woman, she insisted that it should not be of any interest to anyone, telling Us Magazine, "It's nobody's business if I am or I'm not (rich)." Mary-Kate then discusses how she doubts she would have considered a career in show business had she not first began as a youngster, insisting she is only acting now because it is all she has ever really known.

"I grew up in it. It wasn't something that I aspired to. It's just something I knew. For me, I just worked. I had a job. I've had a job for 21 years," Mary-Kate adds.
