Courtney Love in the Hospital Again

After being released from a weekend stay at Bellevue Hospital Center in Manhattan, Courtney Love was admitted to an undisclosed private clinic in New York. The type of institution she is in is not known.

Love was rushed to Bellevue Hospital Friday when she was throwing bottles from her apartment and yelling that she had had an abortion. According to the New York Times, a 911 call had been placed from her appartment regarding a miscarriage. Pictures of the 40-year-old rocker in a camisole and handcuffs being carted away on a stretcher were splashed over New York tabloids.

Her defense lawyer in Los Angeles, Michael Rosenstein, says he knows no information about the kind of hospital she is staying in or what her condition is. He has, however, confirmed that a warrant for her arrest has been issued because she skipped her Los Angeles court date on Friday. Courtney Love's civil attorney, Robert Ring, has stated that Love now has a legal guardian and is in an "institution."
