Mario Lopez tells NYC What He Wants in a Woman

After his breakup with former Dancing with the Stars partner Karina Smirnoff, Mario Lopez is opening up on what he looks for in a life-partner.

Just days after his split with Dancing with the Stars professional Karina Smirnoff, Mario Lopez tells Times Square what type of girl he is looking for. Lopez told People, "I'm a pretty low-maintenance kind of guy. I'd like to be with someone who is secure with themselves. She has to understand that I have a lot going on and I'm busy." Lopez is currently starring in A Chorus Line on Broadway, and hosting MTV's second season of America's Best Dance Crew.

While Smirnoff was on Dancing, rumors erupted that she and partner, also named Mario, were having a relationship, but the two repeatedly denied rumors, and Smirnoff stuck by Lopez, who was a past partner on Dancing. Maybe she was subject to Lopez's many pet peeves, which he told People, "If she's a big chain smoker, I'm not really a fan of that. Or a cusser-someone who isn't nice to people. Someone who doesn't like family and doesn't like dogs."
