Lindsay Lohan is Spokesmodel for Visa Swap 2008

Lindsay Lohan is the new face for the Visa Swap charity campaign.

The Visa Swap program is partnering with the group TRAID, acronym for Textile Recycling for Aid and International Development, which is a "charity committed to protecting the environment and reducing world poverty by recycling and campaigning at home."

The campaign encourages fashion savvy people to swap their old designer clothes and exchange them for redeemable points on a Visa credit card. According to visa swap.com, the more exclusive and more unique the garment, the more points the person will receive

Lohan recently did a photo shoot to help launch the campaign and will appear in ads, set to come out in June, wearing vintage clothing. In 2007 actress Mischa Barton served as the campaign's spokesmodel.

The swap takes place in London's Covent Gardens. According to bittenandbound.com, Lohan has already donated an Issa dress, two pairs of Jimmy Choo heels and a Miu Miu bag.
