Jack Black Leaves “Man-Witch”
12-Jun-2008
Written by: Marie J. Pellegrino

Jack Black will not be playing the title role of the movie, “Man-Witch.”

Man-Witch revolves around a man who discovers he has powers and travels to teach at a school for female witches. This supernatural comedy was going to be the first time that Black worked with director Todd Phillips (Old School and Borat). Some sources are saying the decision came from Black because of questioning of Phillips’s responsibility towards Hangover and if that would be produced before Man-Witch. Both Black and Phillips have no comment. Warner Bros. did confirm that the decision was made, but not the reason why.

Even though Black has left, the movie will still go into production. At the moment, Phillips and Warner are creating a list of actors to see who they want to replace Black, as reported by Reuters.
