Apatow's "Funny People" Has a Variety of Stars
Actors that have already worked with Apatow and ones that haven't team up.
According to zap2it.com, Funny People is the new movie of director Judd Apatow's and stars many actors that he has already worked with: Seth Rogan, Jonah Hill, and Jason Schwartzman (cameo in Walk Hard). The new additions to the Apatow veterans are Adam Sandler, Leslie Mann, and, most surprisingly, Eric Bana; what most people do not know is that Bana had his start in stand-up and sketch comedy back in Australia.
There are not many details about the movie, but Variety says that its setting is the world of stand-up comedy and focuses on a comedian who has a near-death experience. Universal will control distribution next summer.
