Moore's latest book to continue his signature mockery
C.J. Trent
A controversial filmmaker, Moore is staying true to his humor and well-known political opinions by releasing Mike's Election Guide, according to AP.
The book, complete with requisite light-hearted mocking of the American political system, has been timed to be released in time to "capitalize on massive campaign coverage," as per a promotional statement. Mike's Election Guide will be available for purchasing on Aug. 19.
Moore is best known for Bowling for Columbine, his 2002 Academy-Award winning documentary promoting gun-control, and the politically and emotionally-charged 2004 documentary, Fahrenheit 9/11. Moore is also the author of the 2003 book, Dude, Where's My Country?
