British TV Import is Rated a Bore

Secret Diary of a Call Girl, the British import, is lacking a good plot.

According to the NY Daily News, the new TV show surrounding sex is just that without much of a plotline that will carry it for several episodes. The two likenesses this show has been given is "Sex and the City" and "Bridget Jones' Diary"; however, "Secret Diary" does not have an interesting main character or witty plot.



The show's plot surrounded Belle, played by Billie Piper, who has sex for living and her life is cause and effect from her profession, but the sex, not that saucy, does not put the characters/actors on display as it does in "Sex and the City."

The problem with this show is that it does not have a witty story to keep watchers interested for more than a couple episodes. Belle does not seem to be a woman that real women can relate to nor does she seem very natural in her actions and reactions.

Only time will tell if "Secret Diary of a Call Girl" will be a hit among viewers.
