Kanye caused an uproar when he didn’t start his Bonnaroo set until nearly 5 AM.
Kanye West, rap drama king, made an especially late start to his performance at the Bonnaroo Music Festival.
West didn’t begin his set until 4:25 AM on Sunday, a whole two hours behind schedule, People.com reports.
Bonnaroo officials say West started late in part because Pearl Jam’s set went over time by more than an hour.
Plus, The Louis Vuitton Don, just off his successful Glow in the Dark Tour, had an elaborate space-age set that took a long time to set up.
Concertgoers did not respond well to the delays.
The crowd started chanting, “Kanye sucks!” and then began throwing glow sticks at the stage.
After he finally started, West had to pause his set when a still angry audience member launched a glow stick at the stage.
