The rapper has launched a Website for aspiring musicans and is protecting the green in upcoming concert series "Battleground Earth."

Rapper Ludacris is helping wannabe music artists get their foot in the door. Ludacris, whose given name is Christopher Bridges, recently launched WeMix.com, a Website where aspiring musicians can upload their material, collaborate with others and receive feedback.

As reported by CNN.com Ludacris stated "This is a site where you can get your music heard. You put your original music on here, you can get feedback, and this is a new way for music industry executives to sit in the comfort of their own homes and look for artists."

Ludacris emphasizes that aspiring artists can present their music on their own terms."What's most important is that they don't have any pressure from the outside world; they can (upload) their original content with no one telling them how their music should be," he said.

The Atlanta native also confessed he may already be considering adding artists who have utilized WeMix.com to his label Disturbing tha Peace imprint, which is distributed by Def Jam."We're actually looking to sign some artists from the site already."

The rapper has also gone eco with his latest endeavor. He and rocker Tommy Lee will star in Planet Green's "Battleground Earth,"a televised concert series where the artists battle against the toxic forces destroying the earth as they travel across the country on a 10-episode tour premiering this August.
