Tila Tequila claims that her show, “A Shot at Love with Tila Tequila,” led to the legalization of gay marriages.
MySpace star Tila Tequila claims that she brought about the lift on the ban on gay marriage which recently occurred in Californa! She claims freely in an interview, “It is because of me — I definitely think [my show] has helped the movement.”
According to FN’ Famous, Tila told Us Magazine that her show pushed the legalization of gay marriage. Could her reality show, A Shot at Love with Tila Tequila, truly make that big of an impact as she says though? According to her, the show rallied everyone together and helped to destroy the prejudice that occurred throughout the Golden State.
“Before it came out, everyone was still a little apprehensive about [same sex relationships]. Then they realized, ‘Wow, everyone is really into this stuff, and it is fine.’ The next thing you know, [gay marriage] is legal,” the bisexual MTV star explains to Us Magazine. Is Tila delusional or could she be right about her role in making a difference?
