Rapper Gets DUI

Young Jeezy arrested in Atlanta.
The rapper was pulled over and arrested for speeding and driving under the influence at 2:30 a.m. on Wednesday, according to AP. Young Jeezy, also known as Jay Jenkins, was also charged with driving without proof of insurance or a license plate, reckless driving and driving with an open container.
The news agency quotes Young Jeezy’s lawyer, Scott E. Leemon, as saying, “A court date has been scheduled and Jeezy looks forward to getting the matter resolved.”
The rapper was released on $4,100 bail and has a court date scheduled for July 17, as per AP.
Young Jeezy is best known for his collaboration with popular artist Usher on his new single, “Love in This Club,” from the hit album, Here I Stand.
