Not since Jesus Christ Superstar has Broadway rocked this hard to the gospels.

Has religion ever been so entertaining? Not since Jesus Christ Superstar has Broadway rocked this hard to the gospels. Altar Boyz is at once captivating and entertaining as toe-tapping music and awe-inspiring choreography combine to create one helluva - sorry, heckuva - show.

Matthew, Mark, Luke and Juan are four Christian friends who've united to create a singing sensation to rival any pop boy band. Joining them is Abraham, a Jew, who is also their songwriter.

With pop-fueled songs like "The Calling" (also known as "Jesus Called Me On My Cell Phone") and "Girl You Want to Make Me Wait," 90 minutes doesn't seem like it's hardly enough and leaves you wanting for more.

Christian pop aside, Altar Boyz is a funny and witty take on boy bands and Christian-themed music and products in America. And whether you are a Christian music fan or not, you can't deny that Altar Boyz is a rewarding show. The cast is top-notch and perform amazingly well as a group and in their solos.

For something different and truly memorable, don't miss Altar Boyz on Broadway.
