McCain Scheduled for Two Appearances in Minneapolis Today

Republican candidate receives tremendous praise from Bush

According to the Star Tribune, Republican presidential nominee John McCain will be making two speeches today in St. Paul, Minneapolis. The presidential hopeful's first stop will be in Minneapolis for a private fundraiser that is scheduled for approximately 5:30 PM.

McCain is then slated to hold a town hall meeting that is invitation-only at St. Paul's Landmark Center, which is slated to begin at approximately 7:00 PM. McCain will be making speeches this evening after President George W. Bush praised and supported him repeatedly at a fundraiser last night held in Washington.

McCain received the ringing endorsement from the Republican President despite the fact that the Republican nominee's campaign has made it no secret that they are attempting to prevent the two political figures from making public appearances together.

McCain's campaign has been attempting to counter-act Democratic hopeful Barack Obama's strategy of comparing the Republican presidential nominee to Bush in an attempt to scare potential voters.
