Queen Latifah Sues Production Company
Claiming that she had not been paid for her cameo role as "Mrs. Christmas" in the 2007 film "The Perfect Holiday," Queen Latifah sued the small film production company Perfect Christmas Productions, reported Yahoo!
According to the law suit filed by Queen Latifah's attorneys, the production company breached her contract and owed her $275,000 for her appearance in the film.
Reportedly, "The Perfect Holiday," produced by the actress, was released in December 2007. The film grossed more than $5.8 million by February 2008 in the U.S.
The family-friendly romantic comedy starred Terrence Howard, Gabrielle Union, and Morris Chestnut.
The film centers around a single mother whose daughter turns to a department store Santa in hopes of finding her a new husband.
