Hollywood Chamber of Commerce to Add Stars to Walk of Fame

The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce will add 25 stars to the Hollywood Walk of Fame next year.
The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce announced on Thursday that 25 stars will be added to the Hollywood Walk of Fame, including actor Robert Downey Jr., singer Shakira, director Tim Burton, and cartoon character Tinkerbell.
The Chamber of Commerce stated that each star will receive a star on the Walk of Fame next year, but declined setting an actual date.
The Hollywood Walk of Fame is a stretch of sidewalk that lies along Hollywood Boulevard on which stars of stage, song, and screen have their names set in brass on large pink stars.
Twenty-five stars were chosen by a committee of the Chamber of Commerce from hundreds of nominations.
Other stars selected to receive this honor include actors Sir Ben Kingsley, William H. Macy, and Hugh Jackman, as well as actresses Felicity Huffman and Cameron Diaz.
