Sienna Miller Signs onto "Robin Hood" Film

Sienna Miller is set to join the cast as Maid Marion in Nottingham, a revisionist look on the legend of Robin Hood. Russell Crowe is already attached to the film, and Ridley Scott will direct.

Scott's script shows the Sheriff of Nottingham (Crowe) not so much as the right-hand man of the sinful King John, but more as a noble independent lawman.

Details on Miller's character of Marion have not yet been released, but in the original story, Robin Hood has eyes for her and is able to steal Marion away from King John.

All three parties (Miller, Crowe and Scott) have been extremely busy. Miller recently wrapped production of G.I. Joe, where she plays the Baroness. Miller and Crowe just recently wrapped shooting Body of Lies, which also stars Leonardo DiCaprio. It will be released on October 10 of this year.
