Pete Wentz Will Appear on “Californication”
20-Jun-2008
Written by: E. Van Dril

Fall Out Boy is currently between albums.

Fall Out Boy bassist Pete Wentz will further diversify his career, making the shift to acting.

Wentz will make a cameo appearance on Showtime’s Californication, which stars former X-Files star, David Duchovny.

But Wentz won’t need to take acting classes of any sort (as Fall Out Boy’s Patrick Stump needed to for his episode of Law and Order), because he will play himself on the show, according to reports. The episode will air in September.

According to the ever-reliable Perez Hilton: “Duchovny’s character, the troubled writer Hank, will see Pete at a pool party hanging out with the show’s resident teen, Mia. Pete will tell Hank how much he enjoyed his book.”

Wentz has been busy of late, but not from a personal aspect. He recently wed Ashlee Simpson in California, and also impregnated her. The couple are currently expecting their first child.
