Is Work Too Important to Paula Abdul?

Friendly breakup for Abdul and boyfriend.
Hectic work schedules have been cited as leading to the breakup of Paula Abdul and JT Torregiani, after over a year of dating, People reports.
The American Idol judge and her restauranteur boyfriend had been dating since 2006. A spokesperson for Torregiani reveals that, with both their work schedules, “It became too hard to maintain the relationship.”
Abdul once said that her relationship history was “a horror movie,” but that with Torregiani, “things are looking better now.” The couple was spotted last year at Abdul’s 45th birthday party held at her beau’s West Hollywood restaurant, “Ketchup,” looking very contented, and at each other’s side throughout the entire occasion.
By all accounts, the break was amicable and there linger no hard feelings. Though they have now parted ways, a representative confirms: “They remain best of friends.”
