Pink Diamonds for Portia de Rossi

Ellen DeGeneres, 50-year-old, hilarious, Emmy Award-winning talk show host, gives long time, gorgeous, 35-year-old girlfriend Portia de Rossi a Neil Lane ring with pink diamonds for their upcoming wedding.

Shortly after the California Supreme Court ruled the previous ban on same sex marriage unconstitutional, DeGeneres announced her plans to marry de Rossi. The couple is now in the midst of planning "the dream wedding," according to DeGeneres. The wedding is also set to air in part on Ellen's talk show. "Planning a wedding is very stressful," DeGeneres says, "My gardener is now invited." The two stars have set a date and set up some amazing performers, yet are keeping quiet about many details.

One thing is for sure: It's an exciting occasion: "I can't wait to be married. I feel like it is long overdue," she said. "And I think someday people will look back on this like women not having the right to vote and segregation and anything else that seems ridiculous like we all don't have the same rights."

The couple has been together since December 2004. "She's taught me lessons about myself, and I feel like I've taught her," DeGeneres said of her fiancee last year, "We've both changed and grown, and we just feel like, 'Oh, okay, this is completion.'"
