Gordon Ramsay Under Controversy Because of Swearing

Gordon Ramsay is part of a controversy in Australia because of his swearing.
Gordon Ramsay, the loudmouthed British chef, played down the foul language that he used on television, saying that he didn’t plan to change his ways.
The Australian Senate made an inquiry into Ramsay’s swearing and urged television networks on Thursday to upgrade the way they warn viewers of coarse material and deal with viewers’ complaints, reported Reuters.
He is unapologetic as to his acts on television. The ratings in Australia are skyrocketing for his shows about the working pressures in a restaurant kitchen. “I want to run a proper kitchen with a pair of bollocks, not stand there and wish everybody a merry Christmas and pat them on the back every time they do a good job,” reported Reuters of what he told Nine Network on Friday.
“It’s high pressure, high energy and more importantly, real. That’s how we keep it each and every day,” he said, according to Reuters. The inquiry was prompted by one episode aired earlier in the year on which Ramsay used a four-letter expletive more than 80 times in 40 minutes.
Hosts proposed a swear jar in which he would drop a penny every time he swore, which he promptly thanked them for and smashed it on the floor, before swearing even more.
