Obama and Clinton Preparing for Campaign Debut on Friday

Many questions still linger over bitter battle for presidency.

According to ABC News, Democratic presidential nominee Barack Obama is scheduled to make his general election campaign debut alongside Democratic presidential hopeful Senator Hillary Clinton on Friday. The two political figures are scheduled to make a campaign trip together in an attempt to gather support for the Democratic nominee.

Specifically, Obama is hoping to gain support from women voters who were strongly behind Clinton throughout the Democratic primaries. Despite the fact that the two are scheduled to be campaigning together, ABC News is reporting that there are still lingering effects from their heated battle for the Democratic Party's presidential nomination.

Two separate speeches were given this past weekend; one by former President Bill Clinton and the other by Senator Hillary Clinton. During the speeches, Obama's name was only mentioned once by the former President and not at all by his former opponent.

On the other hand, those close to Clinton are strongly disappointed with the fact that Obama has yet to propose a plan that will help rid her of the approximate $10 million debt from her campaign.
