Shaquille O'Neal Hammers into Kobe Bryant in Freestyle Rap

O'Neal claims the rap was no big deal, nothing personal.

One of the NBA's most heated rivalries appears to have been re-ignited by a freestyle rap verse performed on Sunday night in a New York City night club.

Former teammates and arguably the two most popular players in the entire league, Shaquille O'Neal and Kobe Bryant, have been involved in a heated feud for many years, dating back to when they were winning NBA titles with the Los Angeles Lakers.

Though the feud appeared to have died down over the past year or two, O'Neal has added fuel back to the fire with his performance alongside hip-hop artist Cory Gunz Sunday night. O'Neal rapped about how Bryant, who has not won a championship without O'Neal as his teammate, could not do it without him, according to the Los Angeles Times.

In a more derogatory statement later in the verse, O'Neal mocked how Bryant has been quick to kiss his rear end since the feud has died down. O'Neal told the media late Monday evening that the freestyle was all part of a performance, that it was no big deal, and that he was on good terms with Bryant.
