Employee Kills Four Co-Workers, Commits Suicide in Kentucky

Tragedy occurs early this morning in plastic plant.

According to the New York Times, an unidentified employee who worked in Henderson, Kentucky at Atlantis Plastics has reportedly shot and killed four co-workers, wounded two other co-workers and committed suicide after the shootings occurred.

The two co-workers who were shot and wounded have been transferred to a local hospital where they are currently receiving medical treatment, according to the New York Times. No update has been given in regards to their current condition.

The police statement that has been released in response to this tragic incident reads, "The cause behind this incident is unknown, however, the suspect is known to have gotten into an argument with a supervisor earlier in the evening."

The murderer got into an argument with a supervisor prior to his scheduled break. When the worker returned, he arrived on the scene with a handgun and began shooting various co-workers who were scattered throughout the plant.

No information has been released about who the victims were or if one of the victims was indeed the supervisor who got in the original argument with the unidentified murderer, who shot himself at the conclusion of his killing spree.
